About Me

Emily Lewis: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; I am a 3rd generation photographer and I started taking pictures when I was 16. I fell in love with everything about my old Nikkor that was handed down to me from my Dad. I loved the film processing, developing and especially spending hours in the dark room. Black and white photos became my obsession. I found myself with two more Nikon SLR film cameras which I still use occasionally, however I recently broke down and entered the world of digital photography and bought a Nikon D700. I am hoping to document my journey of digital photography and taking pictures professionally through this blog, and as I have the chance I will also occasionally post black and white film photos that I have had put on to DVD.
